The Puget Sound Honor Flight Network provides a once in a lifetime opportunity for WWII Veterans to see their Memorials in Washington, D.C. and Virginia at no cost to the Veteran.
There will be 31 WWII Veterans and 24 guardians departing from SeaTac airport at 12:25 pm on Friday, May 30th.
The tour on Saturday, May 31st in Washington D.C. and Virginia will take a deluxe coach with a motorcycle escort from Baltimore to Washington, D.C. and visit the WWII, Lincoln, Korean War, Vietnam War, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force Memorials, observe the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknowns and the Women in Military Service for America Memorial at Arlington National Cemetery.
All 31 WWII Veterans and 24 guardians return to SeaTac on Sunday, June 1st on Southwest Airlines flight 183 (from BWI) at 1:40 p.m.
Please join us and greet our WWII Veterans upon their return to SeaTac on Sunday, June 1st for a Welcome Home Celebration in the Atrium area at the south end baggage level of the airport (near the shuttle bus departures area).
